Abex-Denison Div. Appoints Feierabend VP-Manufacturing

Erich H. Feierabend has been named vice president of manufacturing for Abex Corporation, Denison Division, according to an announcement by B.R. Horne, division president. Mr. Feierabend will be located at the division's headquarters in Columbus, Ohio, and will be responsible for all United States manufacturing activities of the division.

Mr. Feierabend has served in a number of manufacturing positions with Abex Corporation and several of its divisions. He has been with the Abex-Friction Products Group, U.S., in Troy, Mich., and Winchester, Va., since 1969— most recently as vice president of manufacturing. Previously, he was manager of manufacturing for the S.K. Wellman Division of Abex in Bedford, Ohio, and chief engineer of the S.K. Wellman Division of Abex in Cleveland, Ohio, having joined that company prior to its association with Abex Corporation.

Following three years of service in the United States Air Force, Mr. Feierabend attended the former Fenn College in Cleveland, and also completed advanced management courses at John Carroll University in Cleveland and several other schools.

In addition to its plants in Columbus, Marysville, and Delaware, Ohio, Denison has plants and sales offices in Belgium, Denmark, England, France, India, Italy, Japan, and West Germany. The company is further represented throughout the world by a network of sales and service affiliates.

Denison's parent company, Abex Corporation, is a subsidiary of IC Industries, Inc., Chicago, 111.
