New Development Team For Ocean Liners

Ocean Liners Limited has formed a development team under the leadership of Raymond R.

Miles, who has been appointed development director of the company.

Ocean Liners is the division of Ocean Transport & Trading Limited, Liverpool, England, which is responsible for the conventional cargoliner companies, Blue Funnel, Glen Line, NSMO and Elder Dempster Lines.

Mr. Miles joined Ocean in 1972 as a group strategic planner. He was appointed finance director of Ocean Liners in 1976, and is a director of the USA/West Africa trade.

Mr. Miles will be responsible for the development of new business opportunities, principally in the Middle East and Nigeria.

He will be assisted by a newly formed development team, which at present consists of P. Collins, T.G. Sawyer and J.C. Bishop.

Mr. Collins is development manager with special responsibility for the Middle East. He also assumes duties as a nonexecutive director of Barber Blue Sea Lines.

Mr. Sawyer will be responsible for shore-based projects in Nigeria, a"nd Mr. Bishop will be assisting on projects in both the Middle East and Nigeria.
