AquaBeam Appoints Arnessen Marine

Arnessen Marine Systems, Inc.

has been appointed the exclusive distributor for the AquaBeam underwater lights, a unique lighting system especially designed for divers for underwater search and engineering, submersible vehicles, diving bells and hydroboxes, habitats, salvage operations and many other applications.

Unlike sealed underwater lights, this system is based on a unique series of tungsten halogen lamp bulbs which require no protection against the subsurface environment.

All lamp bulbs are extremely resistant to thermal shock. They range from 20 watts to 250 watts output, and may be replaced underwater since Aqua- Beam lampheads are "free flooding." There are no troublesome water seals and no leakage problems.

The AquaBeam System offers a choice of 12 and 24-volt rechargeable nickel cadmium battery powered units or 115-volt a-c operated, fully submersible transformers which generate 24 volts to drive multiple lamp arrays.

Since the actual lampheads never carry more than 24 volts, they are extremely safe to handle by the diver.
