Morflot Opens Headquarters Office

Arthur C. Novacek, president of Morflot America Inc., has announced that MORAM's newly established U.S. corporate headquarters is now fully operational.

From MORAM's new U.S. headquarters at 67 Walnut Avenue, Clark, N.J. 07066, Mr. Novacek said: "As U.S. agents for Fesco Lines, MORAM is now actively booking cargo for the growing number of routes served by Fesco between the U.S. and Far East." He also announced the promotion of William V. Heffernan to executive vice president, Clifford G. Williams to senior vice president- finance, and Aleksandor Puzel as vice president, eastern and Gulf areas.

Mr. Novacek, noting that MORAM's top executive staff in Clark consists of experienced American steamship line veterans, added: "MORAM is now providing central direction and coordination for all Fesco activities in the U.S., which include a full range of containership, breakbulk and minibridge service between the West Gulf and East Coasts and the Far East." MORAM's chief executive offi- cer also noted that in addition to representing Fesco (Far Eastern Shipping Lines), MORAM also is serving as U.S. Great Lakes agent for Blasco Lines and Arctic Lines. MORAM recently opened a midwest headquarters office in Oak Brook, 111., a Chicago suburb, to handle all three carriers. Plans are underway to open offices in Cleveland, Ohio, and on the Gulf Coast. An office has been opened at 17 Battery Place, New York, N.Y. 10004.
