Gamlen America Names Joseph Nolet Manager Marine Development
Gamlen Chemical Company, 333 Victory Avenue, South San Francisco, Calif. 94080, has announced the appointment of Joseph A.
Nolet to the position of marine development manager, Gamlen America. The announcement was made by James A. Bellew, international marine development manager for Gamlen worldwide.
Mr. Nolet will be responsible for implementing marine development programs in North America.
Creation of this new position will give closer attention to the needs of U.S.-based shipping companies and oceangoing vessels internationally serviced by Gamlen, according to Mr. Bellew.
Mr. Nolet earned his B.S. degree in marine and electrical engineering from Massachusetts Maritime Academy. He was formerly with Worthington Corporation in New York, and prior to joining Gamlen was national sales manager, Industrial Products Division of the Rolfite Company of Connecticut.
Gamlen is a major supplier of marine chemicals, services and technology, including tank cleaning systems, and is located in all major ports and cities around the world.
