SNAME Introduces New Quarterly— The Journal Of Ship Production

The Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers, in conjunction with the National Shipbuilding Research Program is proud to present a new quarterly, the Journal of Ship Production. The first issue was published in February 1985.

The Journal will be dedicated to presenting the latest and best professional papers relating to the shipyard and the shipbuilding process.

It is intended that articles will be solicited from every nation and that professional shipbuilders will benefit from the information and data found in each issue.

Editorial direction of the Journal has been vested in a SNAME editorial committee, under the chairmanship of Howard M. Bunch, who is also chairman of the education panel of the Society's ship production committee and Navsea professor of ship production at the University of Michigan.

SNAME members are invited to subscribe at a special introductory rate of $12.50 for the first year.

Non-member subscribers pay $30 and Canadian and foreign nonmembers, $34. This is a special price for the four issues of 1985 only; back issues will be forwarded to later subscribers as long as the supply lasts.
