New England Trawler Appoints Vernon Olson

The appointment of Vernon A.

Olson as sales representative for New England Trawler Equipment Company (NETECO) of Chelsea, Mass., has been announced by W.W. Symonds, president.

New England Trawler Equipment Company, now in its 51st year, designs and manufactures marine deck and auxiliary machinery, shock testing equipment and industrial machinery in their Chelsea plant for worldwide sale.

In his new assignment, Mr.

Olson will assume responsibility for NETECO sales in the eastern United States from Connecticut to Florida, including the Great Lakes area.

Prior to joining NETECO, Mr.

Olson was technical administrator of The Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers Technical and Research Program and was employed for 16 years in various managerial and sales positions with American Engineering Company, C.H. Wheeler Manufacturing Company, and Baldwin- Lima-Hamilton Corporation on marine and hydraulic equipment.

He will operate from 535 Custis Road, Glenside, Pa. 19038.
