Petro-Marine Announces Major Reorganization

A major reorganization resulting in the promotion of several individuals to key positions at Petro-Marine Engineering, Inc., 1141 Whitney Avenue, Gretna, La. 70053, has been announced by John W. Owensby, president.

Petro-Marine is one of the nation's largest independent engineering consulting firms specializing in services to the offshore petroleum and marine industries.

Edmond R. Genois, senior vice president, had been named to coordinate Petro-Marine's operations in New Orleans, La., and Houston, Texas, and the company's European affiliate, Ambercrest Engineering, Inc., London, England.

Mr. Genois was also elected to the board of directors and placed in charge of a corporate staff composed of those departments responsible for further development of all Petro-Marine locations.

These departments include sales and contracts, new ventures group, computer systems, and employee relations.

In the reorganization, William H. Linder was promoted to vice president and general manager of the New Orleans office. He will be responsible for all facets of the operation, including structural, process and electrical design, drafting, purchasing, construction supervision and the office services staff.

Marcus L. Morris was promoted to manager of process engineering, with responsibility of all process and electrical design and the purchasing department.

Don E. Easley was promoted to manager of structural engineering and will be responsible for all structural engineering design and the drafting department.

Rudolph A. Hall was promoted to manager of company development and will supervise all new ventures, computer systems and employee relations.

Frank J. Swekosky was promoted to manager of sales and contracts and will coordinate the Petro-Marine sales effort worldwide.

Mr. Genois, a graduate of Clemson University, joined Petro- Marine in 1970, was named vice president, structural engineering, in 1973, and senior vice president in 1975.

Mr. Linder, a University of Minnesota graduate, joined Petro- Marine in November 1973 as vice president, process engineering
