Marmac Corp. Elects M.C. Kury President

Marmac Corporation, 1000 Grand Central Mall, Parkersburg, W.Va., has announced the election of Mark C. Kury of New Orleans, La., to president and chief executive officer. He was previously executive vice president, and is president of the McDonough Marine Service Division.

He also serves as a director of McDonough Co.

Mr. Kury has been with the company since 1954, and has been actively engaged in the marine transportation industry for 22 years. He attended Texas A & M University, and is a business administration graduate of the University of Houston.

Marmac Corporation is composed of the McDonough Marine Service Division, which specializes in the leasing of inland and oceangoing barges, and the Hotels Division, with properties in Ireland, including Dromoland Castle, Clare Inn, and Shannon International Hotel.

The company has offices in Parkersburg, New Orleans, Houston, and County Clare, Ireland.

Mr. Kury replaces Bernard P.

McDonough, with Mr. McDonough now serving as chairman. Mr.

Kury will continue to maintain his office in New Orleans.
