Philip Monck To Manage New Natomas-Skaarup Marine Joint Venture

The Natomas Company, San Francisco, Calif., and Skaarup Shipping Corporation of Greenwich, Conn., has announced the formation of a joint venture between Natomas Trading Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Natomas, and Skaarup Shipping Corp., to sell fuel to the shipping industry internationally.

The new company, Natomas- Skaarup Marine Sales, will be based at 475 Steamboat Road, Greenwich, Conn. 06830, and managed by Philip W. Monck. An additional office will be maintained in London. The Skaarup staff in Greenwich, Hamburg, London and Hong Kong will provide sales service support to Natomas-Skaarup.

Mr. Monck has served with Natomas Trading Company in New York since 1971, and is currently manager of marine sales.

Prior to joining the firm, he was director of marine sales for Gulf Oil Trading Co., New York, with responsibility for all bunker and lubricating oil sales to the U.S.

maritime industry.
