Dravo Changes Name Of Van Houten Associates To Dravo Van Houten

Dravo Corporation, One Oliver Plaza, Pittsburgh, Pa. 15222, announced that Van Houten Associates, Inc. has been named Dravo Van Houten, Inc.

The name change was instituted to emphasize the New Yorkbased subsidiary's affiliation with the parent company.

Dravo Van Houten, one of three Dravo subsidiaries undergoing name changes, provides complete marine engineering services for ports and harbors and for oil and gas industry, both domestically and internationally.

In announcing the name changes, Dravo chairman and president Robert Dickey III commented: "Our various divisions and subsidiaries possess a unique range of complementary capabilities in the engineering, construction, transportation, manufacturing and natural resources development markets.

"The Dravo Van Houten name change," he said, "is designed to convey the family relationship among Van Houten and our other operating units, and thus underscore the diversity of services we can offer in both domestic and international marketplaces." Mr. Dickey also emphasized that the name changes do not reflect any organizational or operational changes.
