Tony deSousa Joins Electro-Nav

Electro-Nav of Elizabeth, N.J., announced recently the appointment of Tony deSousa as its marketing manager for electronic communications systems and marine navivgation systems.

Mr. deSousa brings 29 years of electronics experience to Electro- Nav. Most recently he directed major sonar cost proposals at Gould's Defense Electronics Division. In addition, he managed both national and international marketing and sales of marine navigation systems. Notable here are his efforts in expansion of Gould's product baseline.

Prior to joining Gould, he served as marketing manager for surveillance radar systems at Allied Research Associates in Baltimore, Md. He previously served as design and test engineer for airborne radar and navigation systems at several Raytheon plants in Massachusetts.

Electro-Nav, one of the industry's largest distributors of marine electronics, with a worldwide network of customer supply and service installations, also manufactures the EN-R2 microprocessor- controlled marine receiver, the RMC 1000 radio station, and the RMT 1500 main transmitter.
