Fairbanks Morse Names R.L. Mattox Manager Of Midwestern Region

W.T. Hailey, vice president of marketing for Colt Industries, Fairbanks Morse Engine Division in Beloit, Wise., recently announced the appointment of R.L. Mattox to the position of Midwestern regional manager in Kansas City, Kan. Mr. Mattox succeeds D.P. Caldwell who has retired.

Mr. Mattox has been with Fairbanks Morse since 1955 and was formerly district manager for a four-state area. The Midwestern region covers 15 states. He will report to A.J. Belvedere, sales manager.

Fairbanks Morse manufactures diesel engines for power generation and ship propulsion at its Beloit plant. The Fairbanks Morse opposed piston engines and Colt- Pielstick engines cover a range up to 29,700 hp.
