Finnin Elected Senior Vice President At Tano

A.J. Finnin has been elected senior vice president of manufacturing and engineering operations of the Tano Corporation.

The promotion was announced by James J. Reiss Jr., president of New Orleans-based Tano, a manufacturer of computer-based electronic systems for the marine, oil and gas, and energy management industries.

Mr. Finnin, an 18-year Tano veteran, will supervise manufacturing operations, technical services, operations planning and control, quality assurance, data processing, technical publications, and master scheduling. He also is responsible for marine programs and energy programs, which include engineering and software development.

Mr. Finnin served as vice president of operations prior to his new appointment. He first joined Tano in 1965 as a junior technician and has been involved in the development and production of most major Tano projects.
