Hall Named Sales Manager At LEEVAC Shipyards

Dennis Banta, president of Leevac Shipyards, Jennings, La., a division of the Leevac Corporation, has named Charles A.

Hall as sales manager, responsible for U.S. and international sales of marine vessels and repair operations.

Mr. Hall, a marine engineer with more than 20 years of management and sales experience with marine operations, marine rigging, and shipbuilding firms, will be based in New Orleans.

L e e v a c Shipyards designs, builds, and repairs offshore oil and gas support vessels of all types, inland and offshore tugs, barges, offshore quarters, fishing vessels, and seismic and oceanographic research ships.

Leevac Corporation, based in Morgan City, La., is a consolidation of several energy-related service companies, which includes shipbuilding, marine transportation, and petroleum products for the inland and offshore marine service industry
