The Gilkes Series 'M' Gilmec self-priming pump is one of the most widely used s e l f - p r i m i ng pumps in the marine world today.

With t h e i r record for quality and reliable service over an extremely long life, t h e y are fitted as standard seawater cooling pumps by many of the world's leading manu f a c t u r e r s of marine diesel engines for the workboat market.

The Series 'M' Gilmec pump has been designed specifically for t h e marine market, not just another industrial pump adapted to meet a market where reliability is all important. The pumps are constructed in all bronze materials t h a t have been proved over many years to be t h e best to with- stand seawater erosion and corrosion.

The s h a f t is made in stainless steel and runs in heavy-duty ball and roller bearings designed for a minimum life of 25,000 hours under the worst conditions.
