David Johnson Appointed A Group Manager At Michigan Wheel Division

David A. Johnson has been named manager of the Propulsion Systems Group at Michigan Wheel Division, Dana Corporation. The announcement was made by H.L.

VanderMey, p r e s i d e n t of the Grand Rapids, Mich., division.

Mr. Johnson comes to his new position from Michigan Wheel's Coolidge Division, where he had been assistant manager since 1972. Prior to joining Michigan, he served in the Navy and has worked with Boeing and 3 M.

The Propulsion Systems group that Mr. Johnson will manage is a joint venture between Michigan Wheel Division and Jastram Werke of Hamburg, West Germany.

The group will develop and market new systems designed to increase propulsion and maneuverability of marine vessels. The Michigan/Jastram v e n t u r e provides Michigan Wheel with exclusive marketing rights for the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
