James Oliver Promoted To Executive VP At Levingston Shipbuilding

Ed Paden, president of Levingston Shipbuilding Company, announced that James B. Oliver is promoted from senior vice president to executive vice president, effective immediately. In addition to his finance duties, he will be r e s p o n s i b l e for monitoring all company operations and activities, at both Levingston Shipbuilding Company and its subsidiaries, Gulfport Shipbuilding Company, Industrial Products, plus Levingston-Armadillo, Inc.

Prior to coming with Levingston in 1956, Mr. Oliver worked four years for Price Waterhouse & Co. At Levingston he served in the following positions: chief accountant, controller, assistant secretary and treasurer, director, vice president-finance, secretary and treasurer, vice president-administration, secretary and treasurer, and senior vice president, secretary and treasurer.
