Si-Tex Koden Model 3 has 3 kw of power, two pulse lengths, and generates clear sharp targets over x/4- to 24-m:le range. Model 9 has 6 kw of power, three pulse lengths, and seven range scales f r om 14 to 64 miles. The Model 11 boasts 10 kw of power with seven ranges f r om % to 80 miles.

Extended-range r a d a r s p r o v i de u s e f u l i n f o r m a t i o n on possible thunderheads for safe navigation.
