The election of two new corporate officers by the board of directors of Lykes Bros. Steamship Co., Inc., has been announced by Lykes president W.J. Amoss Jr.

Robert J. Koch is the new vice president-administration. He succeeds John J. Creevy, who has retired after more than 49 years of service with the Lykes organization.

Mr. Guerin, a former national award-winning newspaperman, joined the Lykes staff in 1946 to head its newly created Public Relations and Advertising Division.

Under his guidance, the Lykes advertising program has won several awards, and the monthly Lykes magazine "Fleet Flashes" has earned many industrial journalism honors.
