Prudential Lines Appoints Assistant Traffic Managers

The appointments of Louise Gonzales and Rosalie Castanon as assistant traffic managers for inbound and outbound freight, respectively, was announced by Capt. M.H.K.

Aschemeyer, district manager in southern California for Prudential Lines.

Working from Prudential's offices in Long Beach, Ms. Gonzales will be responsible for all activities concerning inbound freight and documentation, and Ms. Castanon will be in charge of booking, documentation and manifesting of cargoes for outbound freight.

Ms. Gonzales, who joined Prudential Lines in 1972 as a passenger agent, previously served as administrative assistant to the district manager.

Ms. Castanon, who joined Grace Line in 1965, served in various positions until 1969, when she was made freight cashier for the newly formed Prudential Grace Line and subsequently, accounting supervisor for Prudential Lines in southern California.

Prudential Lines operates four passenger Cruiseliners that sail approximately every two weeks from Canada and West Coast ports to Mexico, the Caribbean and around South America. The line also operates two 20,000-ton cargo vessels, which carry both container and breakbulk cargo.
