Offshore Technology Conference Scheduled For May 2-5 In Houston

The world's largest and most comprehensive technical conference and exhibition on offshore resource development, the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC), will be held in Houston, Texas, from May 2 through 5, 1977.

OTC is an interdisciplinary meeting encompassing the diverse and scientific disciplines involved in the many facets of offshore resource development. OTC is sponsored by 11 professional engineering societies.

Some 300 papers have been selected by the OTC Program Committee to provide a wide range of technical topics. Papers have been placed in 47 sessions covering both state-of-the-art and new technology in every major area of offshore resource development.

Exhibition facilities at Houston's Astrodomain complex (Astrohall, Astrodome, Astroarena) have been expanded over that available last year to 800,000 gross square feet. More than 1,500 leading international companies from 16 countries will display their latest equipment, services and supplies in a 3,700-stand exhibition.

Attendance at OTC '77 is expected to equal or exceed last year's attendance of 61,700.
